PRICES

  • The price list reflects both LIST and NET pricing.  
  • Net pricing is reserved for design professionals. NET pricing is less 1/3 LIST.
  • Packing, freight and insurance charges are additional.
  • Custom quotations must be requested in writing by your SALESPERSON. QUATRAIN will provide a quotation in writing that is valid for thirty days. All custom quotations must be re-quoted after that time.
  • Custom finish samples and shop drawings are subject to an additional fee.

TERMS

  • All orders are subject to final acceptance by written confirmation from QUATRAIN
  • A 50% deposit is required to initiate orders. Balances must be paid in full prior to shipment.
  • Interest at the rate of 1 ½% per month (18% per year) will be charged on all accounts that have not shipped or have outstanding balances beyond thirty days of completion.
  • A $20.00 fee will be charged on all returned checks.

CANCELLATION POLICY

After confirmation, no order may be cancelled without prior, written consent of QUATRAIN, INC. Cancellations are subject to a re-stocking fee equivalent to 25% of the LIST price. Custom orders are not cancelable after production has begun.

SHIPPING

  • All orders are shipped F.O.B. Los Angeles, California.
  • Unless otherwise specified, QUATRAIN, INC. will ship all orders freight, packing, and insurance collect with an independent carrier at its discretion. If a specific carrier is preferred, please advise prior to completion. To prepay all freight charges, you must specify "PREPAID" on your purchase order. A shipping quotation will be prepared and added to the final balance upon completion of the order. Title to all merchandise passes to the purchaser upon receipt of said merchandise by the common carrier.

DAMAGE/FREIGHT CLAIMS

  • The delivering carrier is responsible for any damage (concealed or visible) incurred during transit. Should furniture arrive damaged, it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSIGNEE or their agent to report damage to the carrier IMMEDIATELY and file a freight claim. Any and all cartoning and paperwork must be retained for carrier inspections. Returns are expressly forbidden without prior written authorization from QUATRAIN.
  • Claims for merchandise defects or errors must be reported to QUATRAIN, in writing, within 10 days of receipt. Failure to do so shall constitute full acceptance of the merchandise.
  • QUATRAIN will not accept any return of product without prior written authorization.

PRODUCTION LEAD-TIME

  • An estimated lead-time will appear on the order confirmation from QUATRAIN, which is an ESTIMATE dependent upon timely receipt of COM, COL and any necessary finish approval and specifications. QUATRAIN will not be liable for delays in production associated with receipt of COM, COL, or necessary approvals by designer.
  • UL Approval is available for all QUATRAIN fixtures, upon request. If you require UL Approval, please specify on the purchase order. Contact your SALESPERSON regarding any up-charges or lead-time extensions that may apply.
  • Estimated lead-time refers to production time only. Freight and transit time is additional. Items can not ship until balance is paid-in-full.

WARRANTY

  • All items are warranted to be free of any material and manufacturing defects for one (1) year from date of shipment.
  • Should any failure to conform with this limited warranty appear to a Product during the one (1) year warranty period, QUATRAIN will, upon prompt written notification, repair or replace, at its option and costs, the affect part or parts.
  • The warranty does not apply to: (i) damage caused by carrier; (ii) normal wear and tear or acts of omissions of parties other than QUATRAIN (including user modification); (iii) COM or any other third-party materials applied to product; (iv) Products damaged in installation; (v) Products that are improperly installed; (vi) improper usage; and, (vii) dramatic temperature variations or exposure to unusual conditions.
  • Due to the variation in natural materials, this warranty does not guarantee the grain or texture of wood and painted surfaces, marble or stone or any other natural materials. The nature of hand-crafted furniture may result in slight variations in dimensions, color and finish.

CUSTOM FINISHES

  • Available upon request. 
  • Custom finish samples will be generated after receipt of 50% deposit. Delays in approval of custom samples may result in the delay of overall estimated lead-time.

DIMENSIONS

Dimensions are provided to the nearest ¼ inch. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our furniture, measurements may vary slightly. If specific tolerances are required, please note these on your purchase order.

CUSTOMER'S OWN MATERIALS (COM)

  • Yardage requirements are based on 54" wide plain goods. Requirements pertaining to any variations or repeats should be verified with your SALESPERSON.
  • QUATRAIN will not responsible for delays in production resulting from non-receipt of COM nor defects in received material. Customer will be notified of any defects prior to upholstery.

CUSTOMER'S OWN LEATHER (COL)

  • Leather requirements are based on individual hides of approximately 38-40 square feet.
  • Conversion of COM to COL Requirements: 18 square feet of leather is required for every yard of 54" fabric. Requirements pertaining to smaller hides should be verified with your SALESPERSON.
  • QUATRAIN will not be responsible for delays in production resulting from non-receipt of COL nor defects in received leather. As with all natural materials, there may be variations in coloration and appearance in leather. Customer will be notified prior to upholstery of any perceived flaws beyond reasonable variation.
